Dr. Jane Chalkley - Chief Executive Officer- Emeritus

Jane has spent her entire career in the education field ranging from Pre-K to adult.  She has done it all: teacher, library lady, administrator and bus driver.  She was also very active in the Chesterfield Jaycees for over 30 years including being an officer at both the state and local levels.  Jane has a deep commitment to her family and her community.  Jane has officially retired and splashes in and out to make sure Firefly remains a place of happiness, safety and learning!

Ms Rose has a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts Human Development andd Family Studies. She also holds a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She comes to us with 20+ years of experience working with young children as well as 8 years of experience being an Elementary School Teacher. Ms. Rose loves to teach children to read most of all! She is very passionate in what she does and loves all children. 

Ms. Dorothy is our preschool teacher and loves cats, especially her baby Twitch.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, bowling and video games. Ms. Dorothy loves working with our 3's. She loves the way they light up when they become excited when they learn something new. This year she will be our team leader of Preschool, Pre-K & Toddlers. Ms Dorothy will also be leading our before and after school program.
